Kathleen Piperno of Raffaele Puppio Addresses Estate Planning Council of Delaware

MEDIA, Pa. (February 27, 2019) Kathleen Piperno, a partner in the Delaware County law firm Raffaele Puppio, presented on estate planning for divorce at the Estate Planning Council of Delaware’s Feb. 5 dinner at Wilmington, Delaware’s Hotel Dupont.

Piperno practices exclusively in family law, including child support, custody, divorce, equitable distribution, protection from abuse, termination of parental rights and adoption.

A member of the Pennsylvania and Delaware County Bar Associations, Piperno was the 2012 Chairperson of the Family Law Section of the Delaware County Bar Association and has been the Social Committee Chairperson for the Family Law Section of the Delaware County Bar Association each year since 2007.  She has been appointed as a Special Master in Divorce for the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas from 2010 through the present and a Court Appointed Child Advocate since 2012.  Previously, she was a Court Appointed Attorney for parents involved in dependency actions through Children and Youth Services of Delaware County through 2006.

Since 2007, Piperno has served as an Adjunct Professor at The Legal Institute for Paralegal Studies at Widener University Delaware Law School where she teaches a Family Law course and a Violence and the Law course. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Humanities from Golden Gate University in 1991 and her Juris Doctorate from Widener University Delaware Law School in 1996.
